Let's start with WEDDINGS this is when most DJ's will inflate their pricing because most budgets are more than just you would spend on say a BBQ.  I see this as a problem with building a great relationship with customers.  They will charge everyone with $1,000 to $1,400 for one day of work.  I don't know about you but I can't see spending that kind of cash even for a wedding.
My price for providing you and your family and loved ones with day or night of great music is....$800.00 any wedding regardless of how long.  That is for the entire Bay Area, Sorry Sacramento it will cost you $75.00 more.  Due to the state of gas priceses it is a nessary evil.  Now, moving on my next great deal is this any 4 hr party $299.00.  This is a typical house party or small event.  School functions are handled individually.  And for Corporate functions I stay within $100.00 per hour.  My priceses are low to ensure a good relationship with my clients.  Returning customers receive great discounts on future events.  Referrals are my main source of business.  So if I provide someone with excellent service.  They tell a friend or relative about what a great DJ they found.  That is how I stay competitive and cheaper than the next DJ.
